banda nova de fermentelos

Banda Nova de Fermentelos is a Philharmonic Orchestra based in Fermentelos, district of Aveiro. It is part of the Cultural and Recreation Association Banda Nova de Fermentelos, a public utility entity under the Patronage Law. In 1921 he performed in public for the first time. It has its headquarters, where an exemplary School of Music operates. It also integrates a Youth Orchestra.

Many of those who passed through Banda Nova stood out as Orchestra and Music Band Conductors, Conservatory Teachers and performers in the prominent Military Bands in the country. Orlando Rocha is the current conductor of Banda Nova de Fermentelos, requested to perform throughout the national and international territory.
